Ancaster Food Equipment is located in Brantford. We are in between the Garden Ave and Wayne Gretzky Parkway, on Henry Street. From humble beginnings, to a 5-6 day a week operation, we are proud of how much we have grown.
We have been serving communities across North America for over thirty years, and pride ourselves in long lasting relationships with our customers. While our primary focus, and best sellers are our fully refurbished True® coolers and freezers, we carry a variety of commercial refrigeration; ex. Novelty freezers, dipping cabinets etc. Should our customers require additional commercial equipment, we work with brands from all over the world to meet the needs of our clientele.
Our fully refurbished True® coolers and freezers have become increasingly popular, among florists, pet stores, and convenience stores. Our units have been sold in Pet Valu’s. Big Bee, and IGA.
At Ancaster Food Equipment, we offer in house printing and installation on our refurbished True® coolers and freezers. During the production time, our team can print, fit and install custom logos. Ask your sales representative about our custom printing today.
When purchasing a refurbished commercial cooler or freezer, most people want to know about warranty. Not only are our refurbished coolers, and freezers 50% of the cost of a brand new True® unit, but we offer the same seven (7) year compressor warranty on our units. Ancaster Food Equipment also offers a two (2) year parts and service warranty. All warranty claims are made directly through Ancaster Food Equipment, and are handled promptly, and with care.
Over the last few years, we have seen a drastic increase in our floral clientele. We offer three options for our floral units; single, double and triple door – both are available in a black, or white exterior finish.
When refurbishing our floral case, we use the same process. We replace all of the existing parts, with brand new OEM parts, the units receive fresh paint, new vinyl and lighting. The refurbished floral coolers and then run an extensive testing period, to ensure all floral needs are met.
Our floral coolers can be preset to a specific temperature to accommodate the needs of different types of florals. Our units are set warmer, to ensure the flowers do not freeze.
Our floral coolers require no additional installation, and are ready to use after they have sat for 24-48 hours. All of our refurbished floral coolers run on 115v and require their own dedicated circuit.
Much like our fully refurbished coolers and freezers, our floral cases come with the same warranty. We offer a two (2) year parts and service warranty, with an additional five (5) years on the compressor.
Ancaster Food Equipment has partnered with Econolease and SilverChef, to be able to offer our Canadian customers leasing and financing options. We have 0% financing for 3-6 month terms, long term leasing for 12, 24, and 48 month terms, and our Rent, Try, Buy program. Contact us today for more details on our leasing and financing options.
These programs make it possible for customers to soften the blow of opening a new restaurant, or convenience store, or for when an unexpected upgrade happens.

Depending on the unit that was purchased; whether it be a portable sink, commercial fridge, or flower cooler, please wait 24-48 hours before plugging the unit in. This is the appropriate amount of time to let the gasses settle, and it is now safe to use your unit!
If the unit(s) are in stock, customers are welcome to pick up their purchase from our Brantford warehouse. Most refurbished units will not be available for pick up on the same day. We keep portable sinks, and our novelty freezers in stock, which are available for same or next day pick up.
Local deliveries are scheduled at the beginning of each day. Depending on what is purchased, delivery can be within a few days. For refurbished units, production time will vary, normally from 2-4 weeks depending on the time of year.
Our Brantford warehouse is open to the public, and our customers are welcome to stop by during operating hours. We invite our customers to visit; Monday – Friday, 8am- 3pm, without an appointment, and on Saturdays from 9am-1pm by confirmed appointment only.
