Over the last thirty years, Ancaster Food Equipment has become an industry leader in commercial refurbishing. Ancaster Food Equipment has been proudly serving businesses in Markham, Vaughn, Toronto and across Canada. We have perfected our process, to bring our customers reliable and affordable refrigeration. Our focus is fully refurbished True® commercial coolers and freezers. Since True® is a leader in refrigeration, the units are made of high quality materials that have been built to last.
Our team of True® certified technicians have perfected the re-manufacturing process. We remove and replace all of the existing components, and replace them with brand new OEM parts. To be clear, we don’t just replace the parts that no longer work. All of the interior components are replaced. Each of our coolers and freezers undergo extensive testing, which allows our team to closely monitor the status of the unit(s). This step of the process ensures that no commercial cooler, or freezer leaves our warehouse if it does not meet and hold proper food safe temperatures. Once the unit has passed the testing portion of the refurbishing process, the coolers and freezers then get a full aesthetic upgrade. Our team applies new vinyl to the exterior, as well as a fresh coat of paint. The final step is adding new lighting. Once the coolers/freezers are out of production, they look and run like a brand new True® unit.
Ancaster Food Equipment stands behind the units that we rebuild in our Brantford warehouse, which is why we are able to offer a full coverage warranty. We offer our customers a seven (7) year warranty on the compressor, and two (2) years on all parts and service. For customers located in Markham, your refurbished cooler/freezer will be serviced by one of our True® certified in house technicians.
While our primary focus is our refurbished coolers and freezers, we also carry brand new equipment. We work with suppliers from across the world to give our customers the best options in commercial refrigeration. Refrigeration is the backbone to businesses like restaurants, pet stores and convenience stores, and without reliable refrigeration the operation isn’t able to run smoothly. If a commercial cooler or freezer goes down, there is no time to wait. This is why we are able to offer same day shipping for commercial units that are in stock.

Our portable sinks have been growling in popularity over the last few years. These sleek and easy to clean units are made of high quality 304 gauge stainless steel. Our portable sinks make a great addition to any outdoor event, food truck, or any space that requires additional hand washing stations. Our units have the largest waste, and fresh water tanks on the market. We have sold to trusted partners like The Canadian Red Cross. Each portable sink comes with a one year parts warranty, to set the minds of our customers at ease.

If you are purchasing a portable sink, or refurbished cooler or freezer, we invite you to come to our warehouse in Brantford. Our warehouse is open Monday-Friday from 9am- 3pm. If you would like to visit us on a Saturday, we request that customers book an appointment. Please note that since we do not have a showroom, we do have brand new units on display.
Ancaster Food Equipment will accept payment by credit card, e transfer, wire transfer, PayPal or cheque. In order to begin the refurbishing of any freezer/cooler we require a 50% deposit. For any brand new equipment, we require payment in full.
We work with a few companies to offer both financing, and rentals. We have a 0% financing for 3 months on brand new equipment, and 6 months on fully refurbished coolers and freezers. We have longer term financing available in 12, 24 and 36 months. Ancaster Food Equipment has partnered with SilverChef to offer the Rent, Try, Buy program. This option allows customers to test out the equipment for a 52 week term. At the end of the term, customers can buy the equipment outright, continue to rent for an additional 2, or 3 years, or simply return the equipment if it no longer suits your needs. We have recently started offering short term rentals for customers within our delivery range, including our Markham customers!
