Ancaster Food Equipment has been in business for over thirty years. We operate six (6) days a week, out of a 40,000 square foot warehouse in Brantford, Ontario. We carry a variety of commercial refrigeration but our specialty is fully refurbished True® commercial coolers and freezers.

We carry commercial coolers and freezers, in a variety of sizes and finishes. We have single door glass display coolers, or solid door storage freezers. We carry fully refurbished coolers and freezers, while also offering a variety of brand new options.

When purchasing a fully refurbished commercial cooler, or freezer, our customers can expect to save 50% of the cost of a brand new True® model. Since all of the interior mechanisms are replaced with brand new OEM parts, and the units receive a full aesthetic upgrade, the units will look and function like brand new, at half the cost.

Customers who choose a fully refurbished True® commercial cooler or freezer through Ancaster Food Equipment receive a truly unbeatable warranty. We offer a seven (7) year compressor warranty, and a two (2) year parts and service warranty. This means that our customers are 100% covered should anything happen to the cooler or freezer within the warranty period. 

Novelty Freezer and Dipping Freezers

Since Surrey is both a summer, and winter hotspot, novelty freezers are a must for convenience and novelty stores. Ancaster Food Equipment carries novelty freezers and dipping freezers in any size needed. We work with suppliers all over Canada and the USA to ensure our customers have the best options available to them when choosing a brand new freezer.

Most of the novelty freezers come with a five (5) year compressor warranty and a one (1) year parts and service warranty. The warranty will vary depending on the make and model of the novelty freezer. For any warranty claims, Ancaster Food Equipment will supply you with the appropriate contact information prior to shipment.

All of our refurbished commercial coolers and freezers are refurbished to order. If there is a change that needs to be made to the purchase, it is best that this is done prior to delivery/shipment. If the unit has been shipped/delivered and needs to be returned/exchanged there is a 25% restocking fee, and the customer will be responsible for any shipping charges that occur in transit. If the adjustment is made prior to shipment/delivery, there are no penalties. If the order is canceled, there is a 25% nonrefundable deposit.

To make a payment, there are five (5) options our customers can choose from.

  • E-transfer (CAN) / Zelle (USA)
  • Wire transfer, AHC, or EFT
  • PayPal – Click the PayPal link at the bottom of your invoice.
  • Credit card – for customers paying by credit card, we request that a photo is sent of the card being used, as well as photo ID. All numbers can be blocked out, except for the last 4 digits, and both names on the cards. This is an extra measure that is taken to avoid fraudulent purchases.
  • Cheque – a cheque can be sent in the mail. This can delay the production of the unit(s), as our team will not begin the process until the check has been cleared in our account.

Absolutely! We stand behind the quality of our products, which is why we are able to offer a full coverage warranty. Our fully refurbished True® coolers and freezers come with a seven (7) year compressor warranty, and a two (2) year parts and service warranty. Extended warranty is available on parts only – ask your sales representative for more information!
