The only brand that we refurbish is True®. True® manufactures their commercial coolers and freezers with high quality materials, making them more durable than units that are made overseas.
Our refurbishing process includes our True® certified technicians removing all of the existing parts, and placing them with all brand new OEM parts. The units undergo a testing period. This allows us to ensure all commercial coolers and freezers are holding the proper temperature. Once the unit(s) have passed the testing period, our team gives the units a full cosmetic upgrade. The exterior of the unit is repainted and has fresh vinyl applied. The final step is adding brand new LED lighting to the unit to illuminate products on display.
Our refurbished True® coolers and freezers come with a warranty comparable to brand new. Ancaster Food Equipment offers a two (2) year parts and service warranty, with an additional five (5) years on the compressor (7 years total on the compressor.) Should you require service on your commercial cooler or freezer, one of our True® certified technicians will come to your location free of charge (provided you are within your warranty period.)
For our customers in Vaughan, Ancaster Food Equipment offers a full white glove service delivery. Our drivers will bring the commercial equipment to the facility, bring the unit(s) inside and get them into place for you. It is imperative that the unit(s) sit for a minimum of 24 hours before they are plugged in. This time allows for the gasses inside of the unit to settle.
Brand New Commercial Equipment
While we specialize in fully refurbished coolers and freezers, we also carry brand new commercial equipment. We keep our focus on commercial refrigeration, but work hard to ensure all of our customers’ needs are met.
Brand new novelty freezers are an easy, and affordable way to sell frozen treats at your business. Ancaster Food Equipment offers customer wrapping on our units, making them visually appealing to your customers.
We carry a variety of sizes and styles, including dipping freezers. Our dipping freezers are a great addition to ice cream parlors, and corner stores. The brand new dipping freezers hold up to ten (10) tubs of ice cream!
We have partnered with Econolease to provide our customers with more options when it comes to purchasing. We offer a 0% financing program to our Canadian customers for 6 months on all of our refurbished True® coolers and freezers, and 3 months on all brand new equipment.
There are longer financing terms available through Econolease for 12, 24, and 36 month terms. Please note that these terms are not offered at 0%.
Rent, Try, Buy!
Rent, Try, Buy is a program offered through SilverChef. This program allows customers to rent our equipment for 52 weeks, making weekly rent payments. At the end of the term, customers can choose to buy the equipment outright, which is the most affordable option. Customers can continue to rent for an additional two (2) or three (3) years, or you can return the equipment if it no longer meets your needs.
Our portable sinks come in single, double and triple basin options. These portable sinks have the largest fresh, and waste water tanks on the market. These units are an easy way to make hand washing more accessible at outdoor events, medical clinics, and on a food truck.
The portable sinks are assembled at our warehouse in Brantford, Ontario. These units are typically in stock and ready for the same, or next day pick up.
Since we only refurbish the True® brand, we will only do trade-ins for existing True® coolers and freezers. If you are doing a trade in, we will require photos of the unit, and the serial number. We offer removal and disposal of existing unit(s) for customers in Vaughan. Please let your sales representative know that you are looking to have an existing unit removed.
Should any warranty claims need to be made, the first step would be to contact our office directly and speak with the service team. From there, we will create a service ticket, and schedule a technician. For our customers located in Vaughan, we will have one of our in-house technicians come out to service your refurbished equipment.
To begin the production of your fully refurbished True® cooler, we will require a 50% deposit. The remaining balance of the invoice will be collected prior to delivery/pick up. If you are purchasing brand new equipment, we will require the balance of the invoice be paid in full.
