Each commercial cooler and freezer we acquire goes through a thorough refurbishing process where old interior mechanisms are completely removed and then replaced with new OEM parts. This includes a brand-new compressor, condenser, valves, solenoids and gaskets – all of which must meet True® certified standards. Alongside strict installation protocols, we also include rigorous testing periods to guarantee all temperatures remain food safe and are held consistently.
Once the cooler or freezer has passed the testing period, we move on to a full aesthetic upgrade. We clean sand down every True freezer and display cooler to remove any imperfections. From there, our team repaints and adds new vinyl and LED lighting to each refrigerator and glass door freezer, so it looks as good as new.
We stand behind our refurbished True coolers and freezers with a full coverage warranty. Our customers in Grand Rapids are guaranteed a seven-year warranty on the compressor and two years on all other parts and service. Our portable sinks are ideal for businesses that require an additional hand washing solution. They come in three different options - single, double and triple basins, making them perfect for food trucks, spas, wedding venues or any business constantly on the move. Not only do portable sinks easily increase sanitation compared to traditional stationary units, but they also require no water hook up and can be used in various indoor and outdoor settings. Each sink includes a soap dispenser and paper towel holder to make hand washing efficient, swift, and cleanly managed. UL, CSA & ETL Sanitation Listings certification means that the reliable design meets the safety standards for all users. All you need to do is unpack the sink, add water, and plug it in - and now you have an important sanitation resource wherever you need it.

Detailed tracking information will be provided, as well as information on what to do if the unit arrives damaged. Inspecting the unit(s) upon shipment is top priority.
Ensure to remove all packaging from the unit before signing any documents. If there is damage to the unit, write damage on the BOL. Take photos of the damaged unit, this way our shipping team can better assist in making a damage claim on your behalf.
Since Ancaster Food Equipment only has one brick and mortar location in Ontario, we will be happy to refer new customers to people who have previously bought in Grand Rapids. We have customers across Michigan who will be happy to show you their refurbished equipment.
Shipping to Vancouver can vary. When shipping to our customers out west, customers can expect shipping times anywhere from 5-10 business days. Once the unit(s) leave our warehouse in Brantford, Ontario customers are given detailed tracking information. This helps each customer track the unit(s) on their journey.
